ADEX 2016: Netline Introduces Four Next-Generation RF-Based Countermeasures

Netline Communications Technologies (NCT) Ltd. (Hall 2, Stand #2310)  is a leading manufacturer of high-end Electronic Warfare (EW) and spectrum dominance systems for defense forces and homeland security agencies – presents a number of innovative, reliable-field proven and sophisticated systems at ADEX 2016.

According to Yallon Bahat, Netline’s CEO, “The solutions we are presenting at ADEX were developed in order to offer our customers the most advanced solutions that current technologies can provide. The issue of detection and identification of drones, especially small ones, is a critical one today in the defense, security, civil and HLS sectors, and DRONENET provides an ideal solution to that problem. On the other hand, the use of UAVs for COMJAM missions is growing; therefore our efforts were focused on technology miniaturization to suit the smallest UAV with an airborne version of WOODPECKER LIGHT. Both the “single back” solution – ManPack and the advanced Slider reactive jammers are sophisticated, advanced Counter-IED (Improvised Explosive Devices) solutions that provide the customer advanced reactive capabilities which create a unique strong protection shield in the battle field.”

The C-GUARD DRONENET system is comprised of best-in-class RF (radio frequencies) sensors, which rapidly scan the environment, detect and identify potential threats in the area of interest. Upon detection, it classifies the threat and alerts the user. The system supports large-scale installations (e.g., borders, critical facilities, etc.) using a network of sensors, monitored and controlled by a centralized C4I, with a flexible interface which enables the customized definitions of regulations and policies. Delivering day/night weatherproof RF detection, DRONENET covers all commercial Drones frequencies, and does not require LOS (Line Of Sight). As a second-mitigation layer, the C-GUARD DRONENET enables the user to activate several mitigation methods to neutralize the threat.

WOODPECKER LIGHT is a communication jamming (COMJAM) family of systems that analyzes the RF spectrum as configured to identify, classify and block numerous threats simultaneously. The lightweight system consists of modular elements and is available in a variety of sizes to fit various platforms and missions from mini-UAVs (This version will be presented at Netline’s Stand #2310, Hall 2) to large airborne, shipborne or ground platforms. Main features include stand-in jamming capabilities and low power consumption.

C-GUARD SLIDER is a reactive / active / hybrid modular and scalable jamming system which counters IEDs. Terrorists, criminals and insurgents use radio devices for hostile communications to coordinate ambushes, evade detection or to remotely detonate IEDs. The system is SDR (software defined radio) based and protects against various threats in the range of 20-6000 MHz, including VHF / UHF, all cellular standards, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, satellite phones and others.

C-Guard RJ ManPack is Netline’s cutting edge solution that achieves full operational coverage in a single compact device carried by one warfighter. The C-Guard RJ ManPack is SDR based that incorporates a wideband receiver that continuously performs broadband spectral analysis of the entire frequency range used by terrorists and insurgents for hostile comm’s and RC-IED radio detonation. Upon detection of a suspected transmission, a corresponding jamming signal is rapidly generated to defeat the IED triggering. When the jamming signal is focused on the threat frequency, jamming efficiency and range are greatly enhanced.
