Oklahoma Army National Guard Commander pays a visit to Azerbaijan
A delegation led by the Oklahoma Army National Guard Commander, U.S. Lieutenant General Robbie L.Asher is paying a working visit to Azerbaijan.
Within the scope of the visit, the delegation watched the trainings of engineer units, held in the Training Center of the Armed Forces.
Then, the U.S. delegation met with the chief of International Military Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defence, Major General Hussein Mahmudov.
The sides exchanged views on the activities undertaken between the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the U.S. Oklahoma National Guard within the framework of the State Partnership Program, as well as activities planned for 2017.
R.Asher expressed his satisfaction with the visit to our country and noted the great opportunity for cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.
The U.S. delegation’s visit will last until July 16.
